HellRaisers defeat Swole Patrol in Moscow

HellRaisers are through to the upper bracket final at EPICENTER Wild Card Qualifier after beating Swole Patrol 2-0.

The second upper bracket semi-final at EPICENTER Wild Card Qualifier featured Swole Patrol and HellRaisers. The series kicked off on Inferno with the CT-sided North Americans claiming the pistol victory thanks to Edgar "⁠MarKE⁠" Maldonado's 1vs2 clutch.

HellRaisers hit back in the following round as Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker and Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk got double kills to make it 1-1. Kirill "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow & company opened up Swole Patrol's defense with ease until the eleventh round when they needed woxic to clutch a 1vs2 (10-1).

HR were comfortable against Swole Patrol

HellRaisers finished the first half with a 12-3 lead and made it 14-3 by winning the first two rounds in the second half. Issa "⁠ISSAA⁠" Murad clutched a 1vs2 to give HellRaisers twelve match points but they only needed one of them as they closed out the map 16-3.

HellRaisers got off to a blazing start on Cache as CTs, securing the first eight rounds. Ryan "⁠freakazoid⁠" Abadir’s opening kill in the ninth round gave Swole Patrol their first round but HellRaisers went on to end the half 12-3 ahead.

Bence "⁠DeadFox⁠" Böröcz’s ace in the second pistol extended HellRaisers's lead to 13-3 and they went on to win the map 16-7. With the 2-0 series victory, HellRaisers have moved on to the upper bracket final where they will face Virtus.pro for a spot at the main event. Swole Patrol, on the other hand, will take on 5POWER with their tournament lives on the line.
